Day in the life of a.... Panhellenic President!

Being Panhellenic President means no two days are ever the same. From early morning meetings to late-night meetings, my role was all about balancing leadership, problem-solving, and supporting a community of over three thousand women.

A typical day might include:

  • Meetings with chapter presidents to discuss upcoming events, recruitment, and any concerns within the community.

  • Collaborating with university administrators on policy changes, risk management, and new initiatives.

  • Handling member concerns, whether it’s resolving conflicts or answering questions.

  • Planning and executing events like recruitment, Panhel points, and community service initiatives.

  • Communicating with my executive board to ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Presidential Highlights

A recap of some of the biggest moments and accomplishments from my time as Panhellenic President, from breaking recruitment records to creating new leadership roles and giving back to our community.

Circle Of Sisterhood

The Circle of Sisterhood is Panhellenic's National Philanthropy. We hosted CEO, Ginny Carroll, to come present at one of our Panhel Points and donated $10,000 to the Circle of Sisterhood, which created a grant for Surge for Water, a clean water initiative in Uganda.

Recruitment

Formal recruitment is a five-day process where we welcome new members into our community. This year, we hit a record high in registrations since 2017, with an incredible 1,099 Potential New Members registering!

Another significant accomplishment was introducing the Vice President of Health and Safety to the Panhellenic Executive Board. Recognizing the need for a dedicated role to support student well-being, I worked with university administrators and national organizations to advocate for its creation.

Panhellenic Monthly

Below is few snapshots of two of our monthly newsletters that were sent to every Panhellenic member by our Vice President of Public Relations. Each month would highlight Panhellenic's efforts to strengthen our community by featuring any past or upcoming events, Panhellenic Woman of the Month, and more!
